How tools work
Every one of the 62 tools follows the same simple pattern. Learn it once and you can use any of them.
The shared pattern
- Open a tool from the dashboard.
- Fill in the fields. Most tools ask for a topic and a level. Some add a field for the language, the text you want to work from, or extra instructions.
- Choose Worksheet Mode if the tool supports it and you want a print-ready version.
- Press Generate. Your output appears in a few seconds.
- Use it. Read it, tweak the worksheet blanks, then download, print, or share.
Types of fields
- Topic or text. A short line like “photosynthesis”, or a passage you paste in for the tool to work from.
- Level. A grade band, an ACTFL level for world languages, or a WIDA level for ESL and ELL.
- Options. Dropdowns for things like language, number of questions, or format.
The exact fields change from tool to tool, but the flow never does. If you can use one tool, you can use them all.
