Do I need to install anything? No. LessonWave runs in your browser. Nothing to download.

Do I need an account? You can try a couple of tools without one, but a free account lets you save your work, use the full library, and share. See Create your account.

Output & tools

How many tools are there? 62, across general teaching, ESL and ELL, and world languages. Browse them in The tools.

Is the output ready to use? Yes. Output is formatted for the classroom and prints cleanly. Everything is also editable, so you can adjust it to your students.

Can I make a worksheet from any tool? Worksheet Mode appears on tools that produce answerable content, like quizzes, vocab lists, cloze passages, and drills. See Worksheet Mode.

Can I suggest a new tool? Yes, and we read every suggestion. Use the feedback form inside the app.

Devices & access

Does it work on my phone or tablet? Yes, LessonWave is fully responsive. You can generate and browse on any device. For projecting or printing, a larger screen is easier to work with.

What languages does it support? World language tools focus on Spanish, with support for French, Japanese, Mandarin, German, Italian, Portuguese, and more. See Standards & methods.

Privacy

Do you collect student data? No. LessonWave does not require any student data. You generate materials for your class, and students never need an account.
