What is LessonWave
LessonWave is a set of teaching tools that generate classroom-ready materials from a short prompt. You pick a tool, tell it your topic and level, and press Generate. A few seconds later you have a worksheet, quiz, reading passage, lesson plan, or whatever that tool makes, ready to print, download, or share.
It was built for real classrooms, so the output is meant to be used as-is. No reformatting, no cleanup, no wrestling with a chatbot.
What you can make
There are 62 tools, grouped into three families:
- General teaching tools for planning, writing support, quizzes, reading, and classroom routines.
- ESL and ELL tools for multilingual learners, aligned to WIDA proficiency levels.
- World language tools for Spanish and other languages, aligned to ACTFL and built around methods like TPRS and IPA.
Browse them all in The tools.
What makes it different
- Worksheet Mode. Turn any answerable output into a print-ready worksheet with fill-in blanks and a matching answer key. See Worksheet Mode.
- Ready to use. Output is formatted for the classroom and prints cleanly.
- Everything is saved. Every item you generate lands in your library so you can reopen, tweak, and reuse it.
- Easy to share. Send a colleague a link, or download to Word and Google Docs.
No student data is required to use LessonWave. You generate materials for your class; students never need an account.
