Worksheet Mode

Worksheet Mode converts a generated output into a classroom-ready worksheet: fill-in blanks for students, a header for name and date, and a matching answer key for you. It is the fastest way to go from an idea to a handout you can print.

Turning it on

You can turn on Worksheet Mode two ways:

• Before you generate. Flip the Worksheet Mode toggle on the tool form, then press Generate. The output comes back worksheet-ready.
• After you generate. Toggle Worksheet Mode on an existing output to convert it in place.

Working with blanks

Once Worksheet Mode is on, the answers become clickable:

• Click a word or answer to blank it out for students.
• Click a blank to reveal the answer again.
• The answer key at the bottom always shows the full, revealed version, so you keep a complete copy for yourself.

Choose how much to blank

Set the overall amount with one tap: Few, Some, Many, or All. Then fine-tune by clicking individual answers. Blank a single tricky term, or blank everything for a full practice sheet.

You can also switch on Show instructions to add a short “Fill in each one with the correct answer” line at the top of the worksheet.

Header fields

Add fields at the top of the worksheet so students have somewhere to write their information. Tap the ready-made fields for Name, Date, Period, and Class, or add your own custom fields for anything else you need.

Word banks

For vocabulary and cloze activities, a word bank can list the removed answers in a jumbled box at the top, giving students support without giving away the order.

Printing and downloading

A finished worksheet prints cleanly straight from your browser. You can also download it as a Word file to edit further, or share it as a link. See Download & print and Share your work.
